A friend and I went here mid-December and it was truly a perfect evening. The meal was incredible. They had placed us on a table near the open fire. Once we had finished our dessert, we then moved to the sofas in front of the fire. They had decorated for Christmas and it was beautiful. We had some seasonal drinks to finish off. There was plenty of parking around the back of the Pub. Service was outstanding. This is the template for any Country Pub to copy. Perfect!

Last minute visit while we were coming back from the beach - this beautiful little pub served some of the best food we’ve had, simple, comforting food but with enticing twists (the bee sting chips are a new favourite!) Would be back again in a heartbeat.

So first time here for me, great selection of wine and beers, the food menu was hard to pick from as everything on the list sounded great. Decided to go for the Chicken Caesar Burger and it didn’t disappoint!! The beer garden is absolutely stunning and has a great view of the church opposite. If you’re ever in the area I’d highly recommend you popping in for a drink or even a quick lunch or snack. I hear the Sunday lunches are outstanding so I’d book in advance if you fancy one. Highly recommend this place as it’s dog friendly and will definitely be back.

Fabulous meal last week. Jamon croquettes to start which were fantastic, rolled belly of pork with mash and mustard sauce which was one of the best pork dishes I've eaten, followed by a rhubarb and apple crumble. Very good gastro pub lunch complimented by a nice pint by the fire afterwards.
